p> How to Move Your Migrated Pi to Your Available Balance
Hello everyone! Many of you may have noticed a situation in your Pi Network account where your total Pi balance appears significantly higher than your available balance. For example, in my case, I have 26.96 Pi in total, but my available balance is only 0.0 Pi. If you are experiencing this, don't worry. In this guide, I will walk you through the steps to move your migrated Pi to your available balance.
Important Reminder
Before proceeding, ensure that no one else has access to your passphrase. Your passphrase is crucial for securing your wallet. If someone gains access to it, they can log into your wallet and take your Pi balance. Therefore, always store it safely and never share it with anyone.
Unlocking Your Pi Wallet
To proceed, you will need to enter your 24-word passphrase. Some of you may have set up fingerprint or Face ID authentication instead. Regardless of your authentication method, make sure to keep your passphrase written down in a secure location.
For this guide, I will use Face ID to unlock my wallet.

Steps to Move Your Pi to Your Available Balance
Check Your Locked Pi
Many users unknowingly lock their Pi tokens for a set period. If you click on the ‘Lock’ option, you will see how much Pi you have locked and for how long.
In my case, I have locked 24+ Pi for three years, meaning I can only access it after December 22, 2027.
Navigate to Migration
To move your available Pi, go to the ‘Migration’ section.
Here, you will see the amount of Pi available for migration. For me, it’s 1.69 Pi since most of my tokens are locked.
Move Pi to Your Available Balance
Click on ‘Move.’
Confirm the transaction.
Wait for the process to complete.
Verify the Transfer
Refresh your page.
Your available balance should now be updated to reflect the transferred Pi.
In my case, after the process, my available balance increased to 1.73 Pi.
Why Didn’t My Full Balance Transfer?
If you notice that your full Pi balance did not move, it is likely because a significant portion of it is locked for a set period. Check your locked Pi balance to understand how much is currently accessible.
Final Security Tips
Pi Network will soon be listed on exchanges, so keeping your phone secure is more important than ever.
Avoid leaving your phone unattended or in unsafe locations.
Your phone is your asset in the crypto space, so treat it as such.
